Details
The Spanish Canary Islands blend dramatic volcanic landscapes with refined coastal luxury, and the combination of Tenerife and La Palma offers one of the most rewarding island-hopping experiences in Spain. Tenerife captivates visitors with golden beaches, elegant seaside resorts, and the majestic presence of Teide National Park, home to Spain’s highest peak. Days here move effortlessly between oceanfront relaxation, Michelin-level gastronomy, and scenic drives through volcanic terrain.
La Palma, known as “La Isla Bonita,” reveals a more tranquil and exclusive side of the Canary Islands. Lush forests, dramatic cliffs, and pristine nature reserves make it perfect for travelers seeking privacy, authenticity, and extraordinary stargazing at Roque de los Muchachos Observatory. Tenerife: Full-Day Guided Island Tour
Your full-day expedition begins with a dramatic drive up the west coast to the towering cliffs of Los Gigantes. Here, you’ll marvel at the “giant” basalt walls that plunge 600 meters directly into the Atlantic. The journey continues to Icod de los Vinos to witness the legendary Dragon Tree, a prehistoric national monument and the iconic symbol of Tenerife’s ancient natural history.
Next, you’ll head to Puerto de la Cruz, a vibrant coastal city nestled among banana plantations and vineyards. After a guided lunch recommendation, enjoy free time to explore the historic streets under the majestic silhouette of Mount Teide. The tour concludes on the eastern shore in Candelaria, where you’ll visit the Basilica to see the Black Madonna and the towering statues of the Guanche Menceyes, the island’s original kings. With scenic photo stops throughout, this is the ultimate circuit of Tenerife’s diverse beauty.
Teide Quad sunset Trip
Experience the thrill of driving a quad through breathtaking landscapes, enjoying panoramic views, including Mount Teide (the world’s 3rd highest volcano). Embark on a 3-hour Quad Safari Tour adventure through Teide National Park, starting from Guía de Isora.
We’ve designed the tour with frequent stops to ensure a better experience and the chance to discover places of interest. The guides provide information and fun facts about the places we stop at and ensure you’re comfortable at all times.
We’ll include a drink and a snack during the tour. We provide thermal jackets, full helmets, and gloves. For added safety, 1 guide accompanies a maximum group of 5 quads.
Day Trip to La Palma Volcanic Landscapes
Your day begins at the Port of Los Cristianos with a scenic fast-ferry crossing from Tenerife to the “Pretty Island,” La Palma. Guided by local expert Basso Lanzone, you’ll start in the capital, Santa Cruz de La Palma, wandering through its historic Old Town to admire colonial architecture and iconic hand-carved wooden balconies.
The adventure moves into the wild, ascending to the Mirador de La Cumbrecita for a breathtaking view of the Caldera de Taburiente’s volcanic amphitheater. You will then witness the raw power of nature at Tacande, the closest accessible point to the Tajogaite volcano. Traverse the new roads carved through black lava fields from the 2021 eruption—a surreal landscape where destruction meets resilient life. After a relaxing break in the heart of El Paso to savor local flavors, you’ll return to the port for your ferry back to Tenerife.
Catamaran Cruise with Brunch and Unlimited Drinks
Set sail on a catamaran cruise to admire the Canary Islands’ coastlines and indulge in a brunch inspired by local culture. Sip on Canarian wine or drink from a selection of unlimited beer and soft drinks. Listen to live commentary about the islands and marine life along the way.
Get picked up and go to Marina del Sur where your cruise departs from. Embark from the port and head west towards stunning scenery and views of the island. Breathe in the scent of the sea and the depth of its scent while admiring the marine flora and fauna.
During your cruise, have brunch which includes dishes made with indigenous foods and is 100% Canarian. Afterward, take a dip in the ocean or rest on board. Stay refreshed with unlimited beer, soft drinks, and water.
Pass by Las Galletas, Diego Hernández Beach, Punta Rasca Lighthouse, and the Cliff of Los Cristianos before returning to Marina del Sur in the afternoon.
