Seoul: Where Korea’s Past Meets Its Future
Discover the Many Sides of Seoul
Seoul in South Korea
- 6 Days, 5 Nights
- Double Occupancy
- October to May
- South Korea
Details
Seoul is a city of contrasts that rarely slows down. Centuries-old palaces, Buddhist temples and traditional hanok houses share the city with futuristic architecture, vast shopping districts and neighborhoods shaped by music, fashion and design. Walk through the grounds of Gyeongbokgung Palace, explore the lanes of Bukchon and Insadong, then cross into the bright streets of Myeongdong or the creative energy of Hongdae.
Some of Seoul’s best experiences happen between the landmarks. Follow the aromas through Gwangjang Market, sit down for Korean barbecue, discover the city’s distinctive café culture or watch the skyline light up from Namsan. Each neighborhood has its own rhythm, making Seoul a city worth exploring slowly—one street, dish and unexpected discovery at a time.

Private Seoul city tour
Dive into the heart of the “Land of the Morning Calm” on an all-access private journey through the contrasts that define Seoul. Your day begins with the regal grandeur of Gyeongbokgung Palace, where you’ll witness the colorful Changing of the Guard and walk the hallowed halls of Joseon-era kings. From the palace gates, step back in time among the tiled rooftops and winding stone alleyways of Bukchon Hanok Village, a living museum of traditional Korean architecture. After a dash of nostalgia, immerse yourself in the creative pulse of Insadong Street, a treasure trove of artisanal crafts and hidden teahouses, before diving headfirst into the sensory explosion of Gwangjang Market to feast on legendary street food like mung bean pancakes and hand-torn noodles. Finally, ascend the heights of Namsan Seoul Tower as the city lights flicker to life, offering a breathtaking panoramic finale to your urban odyssey. This is the ultimate Seoul experience, blending centuries of heritage with the electric energy of the modern metropolis.
Market Adventure & Korean BBQ Experience
Your day in Seoul begins with the exhilarating energy of the historic Gwangjang Market, a century-old culinary wonderland where the sounds of sizzling grills and the aroma of street food fill the air. You will weave through bustling alleys to feast on thick, golden bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes) and bowls of piping hot, handmade kalguksu noodles prepared right before your eyes. After a scenic afternoon stroll along the serene Cheonggyecheon Stream to walk off your brunch, the evening transitions into a premium Korean barbecue feast in the heart of Myeongdong. Sitting around a glowing charcoal grill, you will watch in awe as expertly marbled Hanwoo beef and thick cuts of samgyeopsal pork belly sizzle to smoky, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Paired with a vibrant spread of traditional banchan side dishes like perfectly aged kimchi, this unforgettable day delivers the ultimate, high-energy journey through the absolute best flavors of South Korea.
Seoul Cultural Immersion Tour
Step beyond the tourist trail and into the living heart of Korean tradition with a private cultural immersion designed to engage every sense. Your day begins in the kitchen, where you’ll master the art of the Korean Cooking Class, transforming fresh ingredients into a classic masterpiece that you’ll enjoy for lunch. To find your center, we’ll retreat to the paper-lantern glow of Sinyet Chatjip, a legendary traditional tea house where the aroma of steeped herbs and the quiet atmosphere offer a timeless sanctuary. The creativity continues with a Mother of Pearl Craft Experience, a rare opportunity to practice the shimmering, ancient art of Najeonchilgi and create a luminous keepsake to take home. As the afternoon unfolds, wander the exquisitely preserved grounds of Namsangol Hanok Village, where the architecture of the Joseon dynasty provides a cinematic backdrop to local history and folk performances. Finally, embrace the modern local lifestyle with a sunset picnic at Banpo Hangang Park, where the cool river breeze and sparkling city skyline provide a serene and picturesque finale to your day of discovery.
Nature’s Masterpiece: The Chuncheon Escape
Trade the Seoul skyline for the breathtaking vistas of Chuncheon on a private expedition designed for the soul. Kick off your morning with a cinematic ride on the Gangchon Rail Bike, pedaling through mountain tunnels and over sparkling rivers on a vintage track. Next, step into a storybook on Nami Island, where majestic tree-lined paths and hidden forest corners offer the ultimate escape into nature’s embrace. Your journey culminates at the Garden of Morning Calm, an artistic sanctuary of vibrant blooms and sculpted landscapes that define tranquility. It’s a day of high-energy adventure and pure, unadulterated serenity.
